AGF Volunteer Code of Conduct

1. Our Purpose

As a volunteer with AGF, you help build a welcoming, respectful community inspired by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s vision of liberty, equality, and fraternity. Your participation isn’t just helpful—it’s valued.

2. What We Value

• Integrity: Be honest and reliable in your actions.

• Respect: Treat everyone with kindness and consideration.

• Inclusion: Welcome diverse backgrounds, ages, genders, cultures, and experiences.

• Team spirit: Help each other succeed and grow.

• Growth: Be open to learning and improving together.

3. Conduct Guidelines

• Speak kindly and listen thoughtfully.

• Use AGF forums, chats, and social media responsibly and respectfully.

• Protect anyone’s privacy—what is shared in volunteer spaces stays there unless permission is given.

• Support others and take constructive feedback with an open mind.

4. Participation & Collaboration

• Offer your skills and efforts positively—whether in events, mentoring, preparation, or outreach.

• Encourage others, especially youth and new community members, to participate.

• Celebrate every contribution, big or small.

5. Using Social Media

• When posting, make sure you’re clear you are speaking for yourself unless officially representing AGF.

• Promote unity, growth, and AGF’s mission, not division.

• Don’t share internal group messages publicly without consent.

6. Well-being & Safety

• Look out for the welfare of yourself and others during events and online.

• If you or someone else feels uncomfortable or unsafe, please reach out to the AGF committee.

• Respect personal boundaries and maintain a supportive environment.

7. Resolving Disagreements

• Disagreements are okay—what matters is how we respond.

• Approach issues calmly and respectfully; if needed, ask the AGF committee for help.

• Aim to restore harmony and understanding.

8. Commitment

By volunteering with AGF, you agree to uphold these values and behaviours. Together, we grow stronger—learning, supporting one another, and advancing a community rooted in the vision of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
